Terms and Conditions for Tell Me Later
Last Updated: July 13, 2026
Welcome to Tell Me Later.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tell Me Later, available at https://tellmelater.app (the "Service"). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Tell Me Later helps you create, manage, and receive email reminders for deadlines, renewals, cancellations, follow-ups, and other tasks you choose to track. Reminder emails may include scheduled nudges before, on, or after a due date, including weekly follow-ups until you mark a reminder complete.
Tell Me Later is a productivity tool. It is not intended for emergencies, safety-critical alerts, medical instructions, legal deadlines, financial obligations, or any situation where a missed, delayed, blocked, filtered, or undelivered email could cause harm or loss. You remain responsible for tracking and completing your own obligations.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and workspace.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid access is billed through Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the subscription price and applicable taxes. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal made available in the Service.
If your subscription is cancelled, expires, fails payment, or is otherwise not in good standing, we may suspend or remove access to paid reminder management features. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, subscription fees are non-refundable.
4. Reminder Content
You are responsible for the reminders, notes, dates, schedules, and other content you add to the Service. You agree not to use the Service to store, transmit, or request content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, or violates another person's rights.
You retain ownership of the content you add. You grant Tell Me Later the limited right to host, process, display, and send that content as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
5. Email Delivery
Tell Me Later uses email infrastructure providers to send reminder and account emails. We work to send reminders according to the schedules you configure, but email delivery can be affected by providers, spam filters, outages, incorrect addresses, local time zone settings, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that any reminder email will be sent, received, opened, or acted on at a particular time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access accounts or systems without authorization, reverse engineer the Service, overload the Service, use it to send spam, or use it in violation of applicable law.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Service. You can read it at https://tellmelater.app/privacy-policy.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including payment, hosting, authentication, database, and email delivery providers. Your use of those parts of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms and policies.
9. Changes to the Service
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by posting the updated Terms or sending an email.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other users, fail to pay required fees, or if we are required to do so by law.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tell Me Later will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed reminders, missed deadlines, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Tell Me Later operates, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.
